MarketMotive

February 29th, 2008

I first heard about MarketMotive at PubCon when I heard Michael Stebbins talk about gaming Google’s Quality Score. Although I already knew how to do it, I signed up anyway. Its worth every penny, at least for 1 month ($299), and then depending on your pocketbook every month after that. A lot of great content on there if you’re semi-new to the game as well as if you’re deep into it.

SMXWest 2008

February 28th, 2008

For the past 2 days I’ve been at SMXWest. For the most part I usually get nothing out of these conferences. I went to PubCon a few months ago and it was remedial. I maybe got 1 thing out of the whole ordeal. However SMXWest has been kind of surprising so far. Some of the content was actually new to me and it definitely got me thinking. I heard some great stuff about Google’s content network that I’m dying to try out. Another thing I like is that some of the speakers aka Neil Patel actually said he spams social media. It’s one of those things you’re always thinking when you see some of the speakers talk, its nice to finally know not all these guys are a bunch of white hats.

Affiliate Summit West 2008

February 28th, 2008

Got back from Affiliate Summit West a couple days ago. I only stayed for 1 full day because I wanted to make it out to SMXWest. Overall making the trip to Vegas was worth it. Met a ton of people, got a lot of business cards, met a few of my affiliate managers for the first time, and going to the parties wasn’t bad either.
