Prosper202

April 24th, 2008

Spoke with Wes Mahler a little bit today on AIM. Seemed like a pretty cool guy. Anyway, he told me about Prosper202 which looks like it’s going to be a self-hosted version of tracking202 which is friggin awesome. This means I can build scripts to automatically input conversion data and it eliminates any scares I may have of him stealing my campaign data. I think Wes has really hit it dead on with his software. Not only does it appear to be fairly lightweight PHP and easy to use unlike a lot of other analytics software out there, it performs exactly how PPC analytics software should perform. It gives you keyword data, referral data, and landing page data. Basically everything you need. The next step is to see all this integrated with the various APIs that are out there and add tools to further the functionality.
